Echo Painting by Bas Captures Grandeur of Elephants

Fine Art Canvas Limited Edition, 40" x 13"
275 Ltd Edition s/n plus 25 Artist Proofs

Echo is the most well known elephant in the world having been filmed by the BBC for several documentaries over the years. The painting shows Echo as the matriarch of the herd with her two youngest, Emily-Kate and Espirit, flanking her sides. Around sixty years old, Echo is a fine lady who has managed to keep her large extended family through many years of mixed fortune in Amboseli National Park, Kenya.

This painting is part of the Echo Project which is a collaboration between The Elephant Trust (Amboseli Trust for Elephants) and The Art of BAS, funds raised through the sale of the original oil painting and its associated Fine Art Canvas Limited Edition reproductions will benefit the valuable work of The Elephant Trust (Amboseli Trust for Elephants). The Elephant Trust research team is led by the world renowned elephant researcher, Cynthia Moss, whose team pioneers invaluable research in aid of the elephants plight.
